Why should I use a travel advisor?

Even in the age of online booking, travel advisors are a great source of information.  A travel advisors can make sure that your trip is tailored to you, assist you in case of unexpected problems, and help you anticipate potential issues in advance.


Leave your lifelong travel planning needs to someone who knows you and your travel preferences inside and out. Your trusted advisor can plan those special trips you take throughout the rest of your life.


Remember, there is no substitute for personal connections.  

Will I pay more if I book through a travel agency?

By using a travel advisor, you are automatically privy to savings, special pricing, value-added amenities, and upgrades that you would not have access to otherwise. Hotels, airlines, and tour operators offer deals and packages that only registered travel advisors can take advantage of.   


Some services and special requests may require fees. If so, our fees are transparent. We can work within your budget, and we always focus on making sure that you get a solid value in return for our fees. 



When do I pay for my trip and do you have a payment plan?

You will be required to pay a minimum per person deposit at the time of your initial booking.  Additional interim payments can be made, and we will provide a suggested payment schedule. Final payment deadline will be provided with your initial receipt and are not flexible. Failure to pay in full by your final payment deadline may result in cancellation of your booking. Cancelled bookings may incur fees. You may file an insurance claim if you have purchased insurance and your cancellation is due to a covered reason. Travel insurance is optional, but highly recommended. You can purchase a policy through BTS. Cancellations may incur an administrative fee by Bentley Travel Services of $25 per person.


Group bookings (20 or more people or 10 or more rooms) payment terms are based on the contract negotiated for your group.


Some airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

Bentley Travel Services accepts cash, major credit cards, debit cards, CashApp, Zelle, and PayPal. Please contact us about other forms of payment and payment related questions. Should you wish to charge your credit or debit card, we may require you to complete and sign a credit card authorization form.

  • You have to cancel your trip due to an unexpected event such as bad weather, an illness in the family, involuntary job loss or the financial default of your airline, cruise line or tour operator.


  • You have to return home early due to an unexpected emergency such as an illness or death in the family.


  • Your luggage is lost or delayed, forcing you to purchase necessary essentials, or prescription medications.


  • Your sporting, camping or adventure equipment is damaged or stolen.


  • You become ill or injured and learn that your health care plan doesn’t cover you outside the U.S.


  • You need an emergency medical evacuation due to an accident or sudden illness.


  • You run into flight delays and miss a portion of your trip or cruise.


  • You have to evacuate your resort due to an unexpected hurricane or storm.


  • You lose your passport, leaving you stranded abroad.


  • Your rental car is damaged leaving you responsible for the repair costs.
